FUNCTION:
Responsible for providing accurate and timely completion of assigned commercial loan portfolio and credit administration functions in support of the Commercial Lending Administration Department to ensure prudent portfolio management in accordance with Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Also acts as a critical liaison between Commercial Loan Officers, Loan Operations, and existing & prospective customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Embraces the Bank’s commitment to Salesforce, nCino, Integra, and other technology to optimize efficiencies in operations. Maintains a strong commitment to learning and applying new technology.
  • Accurate and timely completion of nCino and Salesforce functionality to assist Commercial Lenders in day-to-day operations, including but not limited to:
  • Data input of commercial loan leads and opportunities into nCino, as well as data input of commercial loan applications of new/existing commercial Borrowers, including borrower and guarantor information, loan amount, pricing, payment structure, collateral, and other information as needed.
  • Prepares commercial loan set-up functions, including ordering of credit reports, appraisals, engage Bank Closing Attorneys, and other similar functions.
  • Responsible to monitor and maintain updated nCino pipeline status on a weekly or as needed basis.
  • Responsible to update all remaining life-of-loan nCino data as needed.
  • Complete and monitor Salesforce cases to Loan Operations and other departments as needed.
  • Assist in research/resolution of any compliance findings associated with Commercial Loan closings.
  • Prepare commitment letters in accordance with fully executed commercial loan proposal(s).
  • Prepare LaserPro legal document packages and assist with in-house closings, as needed.
  • Assist and closely work with assigned Commercial Lending Officers and Bank Closing Attorneys, as applicable, in all pre-closing functions, including but not limited to:
  • Accurate preparation and review of final legal documentation package, ensuring all loan terms and conditions have been met prior to closing.
  • Accurate and timely preparation of commercial loan booking forms and obtaining Credit Analyst approval of all terms and conditions.
  • Obtains and reviews insurance binders prior to closing.
  • Reviews closing/settlement statement for accuracy and completeness.
  • Completes fee schedules detailing Bank fees and forwards to Bank Closing Attorney for inclusion on closing/settlement statement.
  • Obtains loan payoffs and other documents as necessary for closing.
  • Accurate and timely completion of post-closing functions, including working closely with Bank Closing Attorneys and Loan Operations in the commercial loan booking process, and resolving any outstanding closing issues, including but not limited to:
  • Ensure timely receipt of Commercial Loan closing packages from Bank Closing Attorneys
  • Review post-closing Commercial Loan closing packages for accuracy and completeness. Verify all documentation has been properly received, signed, and dated.
  • Review commercial loan booking forms and revise, if necessary, to correspond to final legal closing package.
  • Assemble and upload Commercial Loan closing package for submission to Loan Operations for loan booking purposes into the Bank’s COCC core system.
  • Upload any necessary documents into nCino
  • Follow-up with Bank Closing Attorneys and Borrowers, as needed, to ensure the timely correction/receipt of any errors/missing Commercial Loan closing documents.
  • Assemble and upload commercial loan post-closing documents to Loan Operations for post-closing processing and filing in Integra.
  • Assist Loan Operations in resolving any issues pertaining to submitted Commercial Loan closing packages.
  • Maintain, review, obtain, and update tracking system on a weekly basis for any missing/incorrect closing documentation.
  • Assist in research/resolution of any compliance findings associated with Commercial Loan closings.
  • Accurate and timely completion of ongoing customer service, portfolio management, and servicing functions:
  • Maintains a strong awareness and accurate preparation of all forms and documents used throughout the commercial lending process.
  • File UCC statements pertaining to new commercial loans with the appropriate State, as may be required. Create UCC filing covenants in nCino.
  • File UCC continuation filings for existing commercial loans with the appropriate State, as may be required. Update UCC filing covenants in nCino.
  • Assist in accurately updating commercial loan files, as may be required, during the life-of-loan of each commercial loan/relationship, according to Bank’s policies and procedures.
  • Assist in processing line of credit advances, principal paydowns/reductions, regular monthly payments, and late fee payment waivers, according to Bank’s policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and process wire transfers as necessary in accordance with Bank policies and procedures.
  • Assist commercial customers with Auto-pay set-up for commercial loan payments.
  • Assist commercial customers with change of address forms.
  • Assist commercial customers with payment processing issues and resolution. Updates assigned lender as applicable.
  • Provide account research and assistance for other customer requests.
  • Completes overdraft processing and obtains appropriate decisioning for assigned commercial borrowers on a daily basis.
  • Accurate and timely completion of Loan Modification(s) for interest rate changes and extension of maturity dates, working closely with SVP/Chief Credit & Senior Commercial Lending Officer and Bank Closing Attorney to prepare necessary legal documentation, as applicable.
  • If real estate is involved, orders flood certification for the subject property, prior to closing.
  • Accurate and timely completion of all necessary internal loan modification forms, including loan modification agreement, and submits fully executed internal forms (Restructured Loan form, TDR Worksheet, Flood form, and Loan Modification Agreement) to Loan Operations for processing and filing in Integra.
  • Prepares Authorization Form for payment processing and late fee waiver, as applicable.
  • Assists Loan Operations in resolving any issues pertaining to submitted Loan Modification closing packages.
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely scanning and upload of Commercial Loan closing documentation to Integra.
  • Accurate and timely completion of all assigned tasks related to Business Continuity Plan.
  • Monitor, process, and/or disburse daily mail.
  • Attend all required training/meetings as assigned or scheduled.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Requirements:
Associates Degree in banking, business management, finance, accounting, or relevant equivalent experience. At minimum, 3+ years of in-depth knowledge and exhibited competency in commercial lending, including C&I, CRE, Construction, Asset Based Lending, Subdivision Lending, and SBA product lines is required. 3+ years of in-depth knowledge and exhibited competency in credit administration functions is required. In depth knowledge of loan and related legal documentation is required. Strong knowledge of general business administration practices. Must have superior written and verbal communication skill sets and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Salesforce, nCino, COCC, Integra, LaserPro, WITS, OFAC, and Doc-U-Sign. Exceptional computer skill sets are required. Excellent time management ability, strong multi-tasking skill sets, and strong attention to detail are required. Good interpersonal skill sets are also required.
