Job Description
The Department of Engineering and Physics at Providence College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position commencing in August 2022.
The college has recently completed the initial stage of a multi-million-dollar Science Complex renovation that provides flexible state-of-the-art teaching facilities designed to support an array of pedagogies that enhance student engagement and interaction in the classroom and that emphasize inclusive excellence.

Essential Duties
We seek an individual who will establish a vibrant, ongoing research program involving undergraduate researchers and who will be active in service to the department, college, and physics community.
Education and Experience Required
The successful candidate must possess a Ph.D. in physics from an accredited institution and demonstrate the promise of excellence in undergraduate teaching at all levels within a physics-based curriculum.
